As a Groundskeeper, you will work on all aspects of turf and tree care, from mowing, mulching, weeding, planting, watering, to pruning.  You will operate assigned grounds maintenance equipment and snow plows; accomplish ice and snow removal by chemical and/or mechanical means and provide for the collection and disposal of refuse and trash.  Must be able to work outside for extended periods of time in weather extremes.  Core hours are Monday - Friday, but candidates must be able to work occasional weekends and evenings.  

Requirements

Experience with operation and maintenance of grounds-related motorized equipment and a valid driver’s license is required.  Ability to drive college vehicles is a key requirement of the position and if offered the position a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) report will be obtained to verify eligibility.  Experience in any or all of the following is preferred:  horticulture, irrigation, pesticide application, turf grass or athletic field maintenance, and painting.
